We were recommended to Design Memorial Stone by Coyle funeral home. My father and I were initially greeted by Ryan. Ryan provided us with outstanding customer service and was able to make this process very easy. As luck would have it, my mother’s stone was delivered quicker than expected. Thank you Ryan!

Picking out a memorial after the sudden loss of our Father was such a difficult decision, but Aaron helped us through every step and was the perfect combination of compassionate and professional. The headstone Design Memorial produced for my father was perfect in every way.

Took upon themselves to sandblast our mothers $5500 stone and it’s awful. Owner tried to blame us and said we authorized it ... Looks terrible and dull !

The girls here were very nice during my time of mourning and picking out a head stone that was perfect for both my Mom and my Dad. They helped us pick out the perfect one. During the initial meeting she sent a very detailed email with all of our requests and asked for us to drop of the ern of remains to any of their locations once we received them. Fast forward 8-9 months later the monument was finally placed in and it was beautiful! Exactly what we wanted for them. However, I forgot 1 very important thing; to drop of the remains after she asked me to in June, 2022. So, now I have to pay the fee to have it re-opened and re-sealed. Which, yes, was my fault for not dropping them off right away once we got them right after being asked. However as we know grieving is messy. And it completely slipped my mind with everything else going on. I will take that responsibility. However, for a person/ company that does this every day for all kinds of people- shouldn't it be a regular practice to work with your clients on making sure everything is taken care of? In a 8-9 month waiting period, shouldn't it be common practice to reach out and ask an ETA on when they will be dropped off? It's very frustrating to spend $6000-$7000 for a monument and not have the people you're working with help you through that process A-Z with the hopes of you not having to pay even more money to finish the hard process of putting your loved ones to rest.Edit: Aaron (I'm not sure if I'm spelling that correctly) the owner of all of the locations called me right away and gave a very heartfelt apology and said it was a mistake and that I'll get a full refund. He was so nice and understanding and compassionate! I can't thank Kris (who helped us design and ordered it), Christine (I believe that was her name at the Toledo location who helped me) and Aaron (the owner who fixed this situation) enough for all of their help!

I want to thank Defiance Memorials for guiding our family through a very difficult time when choosing our original stone, placing it in one cemetery and then moving it to another cemetery, at our family's request. They were gracious and caring with every step of the process. THANK YOU for helping us find peace!

It was amazing watching these gentlemen work. From the design phase to installation day, this project was about a year in the making. Heavy thunderstorms were moving through the area on the morning of the monument erection, but these gentlemen did not rush anything or compromise quality for the sake of expediency. This company, through its representatives working on the installation of this memorial, exudes professionalism and attention to detail in each and every aspect of the service that they provide, and it shows in the craftsmanship of this memorial.

Toledo Monument engraved my parents’ tombstone: first when my dad passed 21 years ago, and then when my mom passed last year. Everything was paid in-full in 2002; there was no problem getting them to go out and finish the job 21 years later. There was some miscommunication initially for getting my mom’s date on her tombstone (whoever took my call didn’t follow through). The second time I called, I spoke with Cindy. Cindy was very helpful. She reviewed our paperwork, confirmed the info, and had the work completed in

Cindy at Toledo Monument was great to work with. We were pre-planning for the inevitable, so we were able to take time, ask many questions, and work through details. Through all of this she was pleasant and flexible to make sure we got exactly what we wanted. I highly recommend Toledo Monument and Cindy to help in meeting your needs.

We unfortunately had both of our parents pass away last fall. They had moved out of town but they wanted to be buried in Toledo. We dealt with Cindy and she was excellent. She kept us informed (since granite had become harder to get it took longer) on the progress and coordinated it with Pat O’Brien (also amazing) at Ravine Cemetery. We live out of town and both of these professional made something unpleasant less painful to go thru. Thanks to them bothSteve Roberts

I had the privilege of working at Maumee valley memorials for several years. It's a great family owned company and they have a unique history in the business so what they sell has a unique quality to it. They are proud of the monuments they create for their customers.
